JROTC Awards For 2011

 

         Each year our chapter presents a MOAA medal, a certificate, and a monetary award to a JROTC Cadet at seven Pasco County High Schools.  The award recognizes leadership as well as academic achievements.  Again this year we also presented awards for the Reserve Officers Association (ROA) at the same High Schools recognizing Cadet leadership achievements.  This year’s project is as listed below.

    In the first picture below you will see Chapter President Bob Wiggins as he presented the MOAA medal, certificate, and check to Cadet Ryan Castello; and the ROA medal to Cadet Kyle Myers. In the picture are, L to R: LTC Wiggins, Cadet Castello, Cadet Myers, and Gunnery Sgt Jones.  That presentation was on April 22, 2011 at Mitchell High.
